Online slot game developer White Hat Studios has expanded its reach to five regulated iGaming states in the U.S. following the company’s latest launch with BetMGM West Virginia. The company announced the move into West Virginia on Aug. 15.
White Hat’s quick rollout saw its content live in four states within a year and live across all states in 13 months. “This demonstrates the studio’s speed, efficiency and synonymous high-quality offerings,” the company said in a press statement.
“We are thrilled to be entering West Virginia and further expanding our impressive reach within the U.S.,” said Andy Whitworth, CEO at White Hat Studios. “This latest market entry means we are now active in every regulated state, a remarkable feat and we are proud of our dedicated and talented team for making it happen.”
The company also provides online slot content in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
With over 100 titles in the company’s extensive portfolio of games, it’s no surprise a few have been ranked in the top 25, according to a monthly report published by research and consulting firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG).
EKG’s monthly report provides a comprehensive look at overall online game performance each month and provides a chart ranking the top 25 online slot games. The slot games in EKG’s report are ranked based on theoretical wins, or a player’s expected house win based on the amount bet. California-based EKG publishes the full report on its website.
The top 25 chart is created by compiling data captured from 33 online casino sites across Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia markets. Combined, those states represent about 65% of the U.S. market in terms of gross gaming revenue. A few White Hat slot games appeared in EKG’s top 25 list this month.
